Ladybug Blocks

This cake was for a baby shower that my friend Desiree was throwing. I thought it turned out so cute! I love the whimsy colors of the ladybug and of course the curly antenna's!! Thanks for asking me to do the cake Desiree, I enjoyed it!

Woo Pig Sooie!!

So I'm an Arkansas girl all the way and absolutely LOVED making these cake pops!! My sister asked for some Razorback cake pops for a tailgating party and I couldn't have been more excited about the challenge! They're a little sloppy but with more practice I could clean them up! Go Razorbacks!!!

Blast Off!

This cake was so much fun to make! This was for Mr. Tanner, who was turning 6. Tanner loves rockets so we decided to go with it! I was so thrilled with this cake, it's completely covered with buttercreme icing, the only fondant on it are the wings and the flames, also the backboard (the blue sky). Tanner loved his cake and I couldn't have been happier! Happy Birthday Tanner!

Chain-Ganging

This cake needs a little explanation! A friend at church was turning 50, as you can see, but his wife didn't want anything black and your typical "Over the Hillish". This friend is on the chain gang at the local high school so we decided to go with that! I love the phrasing, thought it was pretty cute! Glad to do this cake for a good friend! Happy Birthday Gary!

Finally!

She's finally done!! This was a smaller cake I made for my best friend Liz, she is FINALLY done with college!! Liz graduated with her Masters in Accounting back in May and of course I had to make her a cake! This was a strawberry cake (her favorite) with cream cheese icing and of course her school mascot's paw print. Congrats Liz, I'm so jealous you're done! :)

Monkeying Around

This cake was so much fun to make! I love baby stuff, so this was right up my alley. This cake was for a couple at church, their Sunday School class threw them a baby shower and asked me to make the cake! It's neat because I knew the couple when they started dating, there when they got married and now they're having a baby! This was modeled after the plates and napkins at the shower and also worked out well because the baby's nursery is a monkey theme. Welcome Baby Brayden!!

Rivalries

So who doesn't love a little friendly teasing, especially when it comes to college football?! This was a cake I made for a family that I've made a cake for before, the pink Minnie Mouse, one of my first true "customer" cakes! This was a cake made for an LSU fan and it was a "friendly" way of rubbing in our victory against them! I loved making this cake, any true Arkansas Razorback fan would appreciate something poking fun at an LSU fan!

Little Luke

So here's a baby shower cake I made last week.
I thought it turned out pretty cute! The pattern
is the baby's bedding, very creative idea thanks to my sis-in-law Amy! So I started out on this cake, did the polka dots first and then got to the lines. I thought that I would do the lines exactly the same as the pattern, that lasted about 5 minutes when I realized I had only done about 5 lines! So needless to say I made my own random pattern but I think it looks okay! The top layer was chocolate and the bottom layer was vanilla all with a homemade buttercream icing. Welcome little Luke!

And We Lived Beneath The Waves In a Yellow Submarine

So this cake was for Ms. Sadie Lu, I ABSOLUTELY loved making this cake and Sadie's name! It's just a yellow cake with buttercream icing. This cake was so much fun to make, very retro feeling. Happy Birthday Sadie!!
